Spring 2008 - New Products

This month we thought we would give you a taster of the new products and technologies that are coming on-line this year. On the lighting front we have three great new products.

Booster 4 Rack is a 1U rackmount DMX splitter providing four electrically isolated outputs and a thru-output on 3-pin and 5-pin XLR’s. An essential tool for any lighting professional. Booster 4 Rack eases DMX distribution and ensures reliable data transmission throughout your rig.

RackDim is a 1U rackmount version of the hugely popular MultiDim MKII dimmer pack. It has four channels rated at 4 amps. Outputs are four IEC sockets and a single Bulgin socket making is useful for both stage and mobile DJ use. Control is naturally via DMX or you can make use of it’s sixteen built-in programs if you don’t have a desk.

Finally we have a cost-effective wireless DMX system. Designed primarily for use in larger venues or outdoor events where long cable runs are required. There is a choice of ten frequency channels so multiple universes can be transmitted on one site. Maximum range is 200m without obstacles. DMX connection is on 3-pin XLR.
